Our Story

India Palace Restaurant in Tulsa is the creation of two brothers, Guldeep and Manjit Singh who brought their family recipes with them from India. After Manjit had trained in the Indian food restaurants of Dallas, Sante Fe, and Orlando, Guldeep followed his older brother to America.

Your first impression upon entering the cool, dimly-lit restaurant is relief from the relentless Tulsa sun followed by the fear that you just might be under-dressed for your surroundings. Any anxiety will soon be banished by your gracious host, Guldeep Singh who masterfully puts your fears to rest and makes you feel completely comfortable and sincerely welcome.

The Reviews

Customer reviews:

“Wonderful service and great food... “

“I have eaten at this fine establishment many times throughout the years. And to this day I have never had a bad or less than incredible eating experience. I challenge anyone to find Indian dining at this caliber anywhere in this country!”

”The food was very good and the atmosphere was lovely. The sauce was spicey, yet not overly-so. I recommend it highly. “

“An hour and a half may be a long time to travel for a meal. But when you’re craving curry, the trip across state lines to India Palace really doesn’t seem all that long.”

“The menu at India Palace is remarkably comprehensive, offering both the greatest hits of Indian cuisine as well as some of the lesser known dishes.”

“For those not familiar with Indian cuisine, lunch may be the best time to stop by the Restaurant. From 11 a.m. until 2:30 p.m., India Palace serves its customers buffet-style, offering them numerous dishes to sample from and plenty of plates to fill up over and over again.”

“Dinner at India Palace is like a journey to a faraway land.”

Vegetables taste so good it must be easy to be a vegetarian in India.”

“India has always been rich in fabulous spices and herbs, including such luxuries as saffron and cardamom. Their cooks know how to mix these treasures.”

“Now come the real treats. Smoky tandoori chicken, cooked quickly at a constant 800 degrees . . . is a safe choice for the timid. Flavor comes from marinades and the reddened meat is tender, moist and delicious.”

“Vindaloo dishes have the hotest seasonings, but the chef will tone them down if you ask.”
